New Large Contracts secured by Sartrex
Jay Sarkar, President & CEO is pleased to announce the signing of two large contracts in the amount of $3.75M to supply control and safety instrumentation for Nuclear Power Plants.
The instrumentation will be custom designed, highly reliable, while meeting the highest quality standards. Sartrex is registered for ISO-9001-2008, Z299.2 , CSA, N286.2 and TSSA.
With signing of these orders, Sartrex backlog stands at $5.3M as of September 29,2011. All existing orders will be delivered in fiscal 2011 and 2012.
In addition, Sartrex is presently negotiating a number of other opportunities and will be announced as soon as they materialize.
Our Plastic Division also secured a number of orders, which will be shipped this fiscal year. The division is continuing to make progress in sales, adding new customers in food and other related industries.
Recently, Sartrex has added several high level personnel in Marketing, Engineering and Manufacturing divisions to enhance the respective division focusing on the growth of the company.

New Contracts Signed – 5/17/2011
Jay Sarkar, President & CEO is pleased to announce the signing of several contracts to supply control, safety instrumentation and plastic packaging display units, in the amount of $1.5M. All orders will be manufactured and shipped in this fiscal year, 2011.
The new Plastic division is well under control in terms of manufacturing and sales.
Presently, we are negotiating several other contracts, with various clients and will announce the confirmation of those orders shortly.
Negotiations with the Department of National Defense (DND) and Health Canada are underway for Dockside radiation monitoring and Dosimeter related requirements.
The year is shaping up to be an exciting year and there may be potential for significant breakthroughs in Order bookings for both the core and plastic business divisions.

Jay Sarkar, President & CEO is pleased to announce the signing of two major contracts to supply control and safety instrumentation, totaling in excess of $2.0M Canadian Dollars. The backlog of confirmed orders at present stands at $3.5M Canadian Dollars.
Mr. Sarkar is also pleased to announce the completion and successful demonstration of the Automation Project to a Health Canada team and is expecting significant orders to supply the Dosimeter Card Assembly in the near future.
Negotiations with DND are underway for upgrades to the Dockside Monitoring System which was originally supplied in 1998 and has been in continuous use since.
Presently, Sartrex is negotiating a number of other opportunities with various clientele and will announce the progress of those negotiations shortly.

Major Achievement for 2010
For 2009 fiscal year the shipment and invoicing exceeded our budget and 2009 will be profitable year.
The backlog of confirmed orders stands in excess of $2.9 million as of January 5, 2010.
Sartrex is presently bidding on several opportunities from AECL, KHNP for reverse engineering and obsolescence parts, and Health Canada for radiation protection equipment.
Mr. Sarkar is pleased to announce the successful completion of a mega-project, for Health Canada which comprised of the design, and development of automated machines for TLD plaques for radiation protection bureau. The successful completion of this project will result in continuous business to supply dosimeter plaque assemblies for next 5 to 10 years.
Sartrex is pursuing the establishment of a small scale business in India to serve the needs of the Indian market, especially in Nuclear safety and control instrumention, and security related products.
Sartrex is also working with the Canadian Government and with SR & ED for research grants to improve our technology base.
